We invite you to check out our new perspective piece on The Power of Tiny Spaces.
It is an enormous pleasure to see this collaborative effort being published. Thanks to the VolkswagenStiftung for funding our Scoping Workshop on Nanoconfinement in Chemistry which allowed us to assemble 30 of the leading experts in the field to discuss about open research questions, material performance and (emerging) impact of confined space. We propose to look at materials, their performance and impact from the perspective of Nanoconfinement or the tiny spaces as a unifying design principle. We expect technologies to advance and new technologies to emerge by designing confined space. We hope to inspire scientists and decision makers by this collection of ideas and the proposed directions for the field.
